Building Trauma-Informed, Nature-Connected Communities
We support schools, communities, and organisations to develop trauma-informed, nature-based environments that build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and create lasting systemic change.
We combine trauma-informed practice, neuroscience, and outdoor learning to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.
Children and communities are increasingly experiencing distress, disconnection, and unmet needs. Traditional approaches often focus on managing behaviour rather than understanding it.
Our work shifts the focus to:
We work at three levels:
Children and Young People
Nature-based experiences that build confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation
Workforce Development
Practical, evidence-informed training that empowers staff to respond to trauma and distress
Community and Systems Change
Aligning schools, families, and local organisations to create consistent, trauma-informed responses

Support your local community with a donation. All funds raised will go back into the community to drive empowered local solutions. Fund a parent trainer, school course, charity course or resources for a forest school.

This initiative embeds sustainable food growing practices and promotes nature-connected communities. We deliver child-focused sessions aimed at building confidence, regulation, and resilience in young people, while also training staff to independently sustain and further develop these trauma-informed practices.

Workforce Training and Capacity Building
Our trauma-informed training, rooted in neuroscience and relational practice, enhances community resilience by equipping individuals with essential skills. Participants will learn practical grounding, regulation, and de-escalation techniques that are crucial for creating nature-connected communities. We advocate for whole-school approaches that effectively embed trauma-responsive environments. Additionally, our community-based training extends to local organisations, including shops, libraries, sports groups, and the voluntary sector, fostering greater community resilience across all sectors.
